Trying to find the dating sites that are right for you? Looking for a new dating site? DatingDashboard at your service.
The reason for this site is simple. You are thinking about joining an online dating site, and I have spent the last 5 years writing about and working in the online dating industry. It’s a perfect match. My goal is to help you decide which dating site is right for you, depending on things like where you live, your interests, sexual orientation, expectations, how much you want to spend and for how long.
You should read the About page so you know who you’re dealing with.
The Truth About Dating Site Reviews
Most dating site review sites exist for the sole purpose of making money. The majority of links to sites are what we call affiliate links. You click the link, sign up for the dating site, and the referring dating review site makes $20-$50.
There is nothing wrong with this, but after a thorough survey of dating site review sites, and as a so-called “industry expert”, I started to get frustrated at the lack of quality information in the reviews. Some are better than others, but overall, there is often little useful information on these site. Worse, the information can be stale, inaccurate or even misleading.
Go look at some directories. Tons of categories, hundreds of sites and no way to tell one from the
next.
What really got to me was that few sites have spent the effort to help new online daters pick the sites that are right for them.
At my blog, Online Dating Insider, I constantly review niche, or smaller, more focused, online dating sites. One can only get so excited about Yahoo! Personals and Match; before long you find yourself wondering if there is a smaller, more intimate community that shares your religious, sexual, physical or geographic preferences. There is, and we’re going to tell you about them.
